Q&A: Is this season BERBA’S season?

Question by K.Patel™- IBWT!: Is this season BERBA'S season?
I get up and at 5.00 in the morning I am seized by this feeling- 2010-11 will be remembered as the season when City so famously spent the cash before the season and failed miserably to overhaul United. and Dimitar Berbatov after all the criticisms fires in 28 goals in the premier league and 4 goals in the UCL (including one in the semis).........

In Berba We Trust

OQ- Vidic off to Real Madrid? Or is the Aces Clown doing his usual rounds?

I am not worried "EVAN" if he is......Also Rio might be injured all time which means Evans-Smalling to take charge.......with Wes' golden experience to guide them

Go United and Berba

haha Its been a while since ‘Bacon Face’ exploded and had a go ?

Question by MR ANFIELD ACES: haha Its been a while since 'Bacon Face' exploded and had a go ?
will this be the year when he wins nothing - and

a) explodes during live TV on bbc (@ a reporter) : ))
b) gets told to leave the bench my match officials during a champions league game
c) finishes an all time lowest position in the EPL and suffers a shocking early exit from the UCL ???

history since the Premier league years tells us that United hvae never been one of the 'greatest' teams of the Champions League era.

they didn't win in 99 or 08 in style at all, and whiskey nose had all the time in the world to erase the 5-2 lead we had over them in Europes top competition, and go infront (during his 25 year spell at OT).

its not november 86 any more - its 2010/11 - and its still 5-3.

you'll never be kings of europe like we were - and there is a difference in thinking you dominated europe and were the best, and KNOWING.

LFC fans fall into the later category - you and your bacon face united dont ! ^_^

all i want to see is Bacon Face lose his mind infront of a camera or get told to get out of the dugout and out of the stadium via the tunnel - he has no manners : ))

all the best

folks - half of me feels there are areas where one can poke fun at United & Sir Alex, but the other half harbours strong respect and admiration for the man for what hes achieved in the game.

Lets all face it - and agree on one thing - EPL Yahoo! Q&A was in a sorry state UNTIL I ARRIVED ON HERE - now its a barrel of laughs & controversy ! ^_^

difference between me and every single one of you epl regs is this: - i make THIS look GOOD ! ^_^

Bad news Fergie, no more shall you be able to snub the BBC?

Question by TJ: Bad news Fergie, no more shall you be able to snub the BBC?
The Premier League plans to implement new rules from next season to prevent managers shunning media rights holders and to force them to attend post-match news conferences.

The new rule Q17 says: "With effect from season 2010/11, all managers are required to attend in person and participate in post-match interviews held by or for the benefit of a UK broadcaster or radio broadcaster and failure to do so without just cause shall be a breach of these rules."

Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson has refused to speak to the BBC, a Premier League rights holder, since 2004 and the Premier League champions do not send a representative to news conferences after league games.

Will he still try and avoid them? lol
@siRyan - the new rulings would force SAF to attend the interviews.

Best answer:

Answer by siRyan
Fergie won't go to the interviews...he will send Mike Phelan.

He still hates the BBC

Next season the La Liga is going to be very interesting (if youre a barca or real madrid fan only)?

Question by MR ANFIELD ACES: Next season the La Liga is going to be very interesting (if youre a barca or real madrid fan only)?
lol as we know, there is a 0% chance , yes thats right - NO CHANCE of any spanish club OTHER THAN BARCA or REAL to win the title.

the gulf in talent and skill between barca and real and the rest of the la liga teams is so great now - you might as well feckin forget it.

why will the la liga STILL be v.interesting , more interesting than ever before despite only 2 teams realisticaly fighting for the title ?

well:

1. The " Special One " has arrived at the Estadio Santiago Bernabéu.

2. Jose Mourinho has a burning ambition to win the top flight titles in England, Italy and Spain.

3. He has won the league with Porto, way back in early-mid 2000's.

4. He has won the title in England, ITaly and now Spain remains the final bastion of Europe where he wants to conquer everything and everybody that lays in his path and ultimate goal.

5. He believes in attacking football first and foremost - but expects common sense and good positional play in his midfield and defence , so his players can focus and freely express themselves on the attacking side of the game. THE RIGHT WAY TO PLAY FOOTBALL.

6. He will bring out the very best in Cristiano Ronaldo - C.R will be inspired to play for Head Coach Jose. Portugal connection.

7. Jose Mourinho will want to wrestle the Champions League crown away from the usual contenders, and nothing will please him more than making sure that he is the reason that Barca, United and especialy Chelsea won't win it.

8. But Jose Mourinho has yet to unravel the mystery of 40 thsouand odd scousers standing up , scarves up high singing YNWA at the tops of their voices - and how, a club can turn 'invincible' on any given night because of these 'fans'. He cannot replicate that at even Real Madrid or any other club on the plante for that.

9. Had to bring up 8, to remind you all - that we're the 'special ones' , when it comes to passion for the club ^_^

surely you'll all agree then, that Pep Guardiola's toughest test will start at the beginning of the 2010/11 season, with rival Mourinho already suggesting he'll 'wrestle the La Liga OFF peps hands'.

quite a confident man Jose eh ? ^_^

all the best

Would neutrals as well as Chelsea fans be naive to suggest – that the title is ALREADY at Stamford Bridge ?

Question by Benny The Kung Fu Monk: Would neutrals as well as Chelsea fans be naive to suggest - that the title is ALREADY at Stamford Bridge ?
the laws of common-sense,reasoning,logic and of course probability are suggestive of Chelsea defeating Wigan Athletic at Stamford Bridge, regardless of what happens at the Molineux Stadium on the 9th of May.

Wigan Athletic perhaps have next to nothing to play for, weras Sunderland have 3 places to play for - assuming of course the teams above them all lose, and they win their game against Manchester United.

13th to 10th is what Sunderland could get, they have a beter GD than teams who lay in 11th, 12th and 13th.

If RIGHT NOW - all you people had to bet your 'lives' on it - would you say Chelsea will deal with Wigan on the 9th, and consequently win the Premier League Title ?

Its fair to say Wigan have nothing to lose in this fixture against Chelsea, and Chelsea have EVERYTHING to lose in this fixture - but its also 'sensible' to say that, Chelsea in 4th gear is good enough to beat Wigan, never mind 5th.

in short, should we stop all this nonsence about 'the title will be decided on the 9th' and JUST ACCEPT , the title is already Chelsea's , in which case - CONGRATULATIONS TO CHELSEA FC - English Premier League Champions 2010/11 lol

Answer by English & Proud
