How Does Naia Differ From Intercollegiate In Women’s Soccer?

I'm a girl from Denmark, who wants to attend a college form the summer of 2009. I want my education to be financed by a scholarship based on my skills as a soccer player. I'm not good enough for Div I and anyway I'm a bit late for their recruting. But my problem is that the education needs to be at a high level. Any suggestions on div II (or NAIA?) colleges with a high academic level?

If you’re looking for a scholarship, most of the 2009 scholarships have already been offered to athletes. I would hurry up and send some video or at least resumes out to colleges. Unfortunately you are waaaay behind in the process..

    Vanguard University (Calif.) 11-1-5

    Ranked 7th in the NAIA

Is ranked the 5th best academically in the Western US.

If you are looking for a full ride for athletics, you won’t find many at good academic universities. You will likely have to either play 2 sports or find money some other way.

But for an undergrad degree, it really doesn’t matter that much where you get a degree from. So I wouldn’t rule anyone out.

I believe Lindsey Wilson College in Kentucky give near full ride scholarships and wins championships, but aren’t great academically.

Its a choice, money or academics, or somewhere in the middle.

As for being too late, maybe for some, but many still have roster spots.
