It depends if you want a single player or multiplayer.
It also depends if you are serious or want a bit of fun.
I’m tossed up between FIFA 09 and Mario Strikers: Charged.
FIFA 09 is better for:
> Serious soccer players
> Serious matches
> 2 player with a friend who loves soccer
> Realistic teams and team management
> Single player campaign
Mario Strikers: Charged is better for:
> Multiplayer fun
> Fun online action
> Less strict game of soccer (rules, players, penalties etc.)
> Special moves w/ well-known characters
> Playing with friends
FIFA 09 and Strikers are both extremely fun games.
Serious gaming: FIFA 09
Muck-around gaming: Mario Strikers: Charged
Honestly, Mario Strikers Charged is the best soccer game.
